This was the best vehicle I saw.
And this was the second best
I wish they hadn’t got rid of the BTTF ride in favor of the Simpson’s Ride. It is nowhere near as fun.

Was there, saw those.
And yeah, the BTTF ride was better than the Simpsons ride.

Yeah I liked the Jurassic Park cars. They had those there right.

The ELB train boils my blood something fierce.
“oh this movie is based on the premise that I don’t have the means to repair a single chip but look I built a flying time traveling train in less than 10 years in the same situations so...thanks for coming back and risking your life and all, but F you marty!”

Haha I never thought of it that way.

Ah, I didn’t see those in Orlando but I remember seeing them in Hollywood about 10 years ago.

They were there when I went. I have a post somewhere but it’s not too terribly great. they weren’t 100% accurate either.

It’s kinda weird seeing someone on the Internet site, standing in the same spot you were.

As a lifelong fan (I have a flux capacitor on my leg) I always looked at it as Doc had actually gotten to a place he wanted to be (the old west) where he was truly happy, so he buried the DeLorean in the Delgado mine for Marty to uncover in 1955 so that he could get back to 1985, and his true intention was to stay in 1885. Which puts into question how hard he really tried to fix it in the first place, maybe he spent some time on it, then really began to enjoy his time in 1885 and decided that with a lot of time and effort he could fabricate something but would prefer to stay where he was. At least he did the somewhat responsible thing in leaving the DeLorean for Marty to get back to 1985.

Thats true. It doesn’t excuse flying time travel trains though.

Until you consider his statement in regards to the future in relation to 1985, “Nope, already been there!” So after getting the train to function as a time travel vehicle he jumped forward to the future for a hover conversion to make the train easier to maneuver. Don’t knock the trilogy sir lol.

time. travel. train.
I just feel like it was a silly add on to make the ending more happy where it didn’t need one. I’m still a huge fan, but the ELB was the jump the shark of the BTTF franchise. I guess they did it at the end so that’s good.

Well that’s a decent way of looking at it at least, in regards to the end of the official trilogy it was a final mind blow when it lifted up and took off. I will say though that the extended universe of fan fiction (mostly by one individual) puts the train and another DeLorean to extremely good use in the series of continuing adventures she has written. I first came across her stories when I was a teenager and still read the whole series at least once a year. Look them up if you’ve got the time or interest, her name is Kristen Sheley, http://www.kristensheley.com/bttf/bttfanfic.html it’s totally nerdy but she wrote a really awesome series.
